Aromatherapy For Stress And Well-being with Sarah Song
Through our incredible sense of smell, discover how aromatherapy can help us de-stress and improve our mental, emotional and physical well-being. In these interactive sessions, learn which essential oils optimize your energy, focus, calm, and sleep and how to safely use them as you transition between work and home life. Please bring your favorite bottles of essential oils (or any aromatic) as we relax the mind and body with a short scent journey and meditation.
Olfaction is a part of the limbic system of the brain—aka the ‘emotional brain’—which is also responsible for our stress response, memories, hormones and more. It is the fastest and most effective sense to shift our mood. Through our sense of smell, we are empowered to re-write our relationship to stress and find well-being through the lenses of science and self-compassion.
